Pando Brisa, the project I developted at my master together with Saulo Armas, Kelly Durango and Francisco Neiro, is one of the 10 finalists at the Medalla ADI award, the most traditional award for students in Spain.
Brisa was designed for Pando, the most important kitchen extractor producer in Spain.
For this project me and my teammattes conducted internet research, interviews with potential users and visited stores to talk to the salesmen to understand what people care about when buying a kitchen extractor.
Finally we defined people between 25 and 40 years old living in the city centers as our target audience and for them we designed a plug and play pocket kitchen extractor that comes with disposable filters that can be changed when it gets dirty so users wont lose too much time cleaning it since time is very important for them.
During this process we made feasibility tests with different pocket vacuum cleaners and made several rough prototypes to test the size and the human interaction of it.
